About the Role
Develop AICA's revolutionary EMR integration framework that reduces deployment time from weeks to under 5 days. You'll build adaptive connectors for diverse healthcare systems while ensuring seamless data flow across Quebec's fragmented IT landscape and beyond.
Key Responsibilities
- Healthcare System Integration: Build comprehensive integrations for major EMR platforms and healthcare information systems.
- Standards Implementation: Develop compliant endpoints, data mapping, and interoperability standards for modern healthcare integration.
- Legacy System Integration: Create innovative approaches for systems lacking modern APIs or requiring custom solutions.
- Deployment Automation: Build tools and frameworks enabling rapid deployment cycles with minimal technical requirements.
- Data Synchronization: Implement robust bi-directional sync capabilities with intelligent fallback mechanisms.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years integration or middleware development experience with complex enterprise systems.
- Strong understanding of healthcare data standards including HL7, FHIR, and clinical data exchange protocols.
- Proven experience with API development, third-party integrations, and data transformation pipelines.
- Knowledge of database synchronization, ETL processes, and real-time data streaming.
- Proficiency in multiple programming languages and integration patterns (REST, SOAP, file-based).
Preferred Qualifications
- Healthcare EMR integration experience with major vendors or clinical systems.
- Knowledge of Quebec healthcare systems including DSQ, RAMQ, and provincial data exchange.
- Experience with legacy system modernization and non-invasive integration approaches.
- Understanding of healthcare compliance requirements and audit trail implementation.
